Pasotti history: Company was founded by my grandmother, Ernesta Pasotti, who just after the end of 2nd world war found a job in an umbrella repair shop nearby Milano. She was young but very enterprising, and within a couple of years, after learning how umbrellas are made, she opened her own small artisan workshop in her hometown of Castellucchio. Over the years, the company grew and was continued by Eva and Mauro (my parents), myself, and my brother Andrea.

Your first fashion memories: The very first show that I attended alone was in Almaty Kazakhstan in November 2005. I remember it was so freezing cold but I didn’t feel it as I was so excited.

Vintage or new: Both, maybe mixed together.

Style icon: David Beckham!

Who inspires you: Everything and Everybody can inspire me at anytime, so better to keep our eyes open looking for some magic to happen.

Museum or art gallery: I loved Saatchi gallery where we attended the very 1st edition of Scoop London.

Pizza or Pasta: Impossible to choose!

Best coffee in your town: The one I make to myself first thing in the morning. I like it Americano style, but made with moka.

Favourite piece or pieces in the next Pasotti collection: Difficult to answer because, as the designer of the collection, I love pretty much all the pieces… But if I had to pick a line it would probably be the one with the Enamelled Animal Handles.

Secret Addresses: Osteria di Cimbriolo, my favourite restaurant

Your favourite song: Singin' in the Rain
