Scoop and the City: All about Old Billingsgate

As a London show, Scoop has always prided itself on showcasing the best collections in stunning spaces.

Our focus on bringing art, design and fashion together means that we are always looking for beautiful backdrops with as much design integrity and craftsmanship as the collections showcased within them.

As many of you will already know, as the Saatchi Gallery is about to play host to what’s set to be the most talked about exhibition of the year – Tutankhamun: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh (make sure you see it from November 2019 to May 2020). So, for one season only, Scoop will be moving out of its long-time home, Chelsea’s Saatchi Gallery, and taking a holiday a little further East, at the historic Old Billingsgate.

Rising from the banks of the River Thames just moments from Tower Bridge, this Grade II listed Victorian landmark is already host to some of London’s most glittering events, from awards ceremonies, film premieres, red carpet events through to high-end exhibitions and fashion shows. There can be no denying that this iconic building boasts stunning views and a wealth of creative potential.

The AW20 edition will see Scoop take over the Grand Hall; undoubtedly Old Billingsgate’s largest and most impressive space. The ornate sky-lit ceiling allows for collections to be seen in their best light – literally – whilst the architecture and impressive proportions of the space guarantee inspiration and an unforgettable experience.

From 9th – 11th February 2020, this already beautiful space will be transformed into London’s most exciting fashion event of the season, as Scoop provides a destination for all things fashion, art and design. Rest assured, we have more than a few surprises lined up for our visitors!

Just 16 minutes by tube from Oxford Circus, 21 minutes from Sloane Square, 23 minutes from Kings Cross, and 38 minutes from Olympia, Old Billingsgate will be the ideal winter residence for the industry’s most talked about trade show.
