Ahead of Fashion Together, our Virtual Forum, we have been getting in the spirit and our founder, Karen Radley, has been visiting some of our local London indies – accompanied by Perry, of course!
Pamela Shiffer, Primrose Hill
Pamela is a familiar face at Scoop, paying us a visit every season. Based in Primrose Hill, the Pamela Shiffer ethos has made the boutique one of London’s go-to shopping destinations.
Melanie Press, Press Primrose Hill
Canine cousins Perry and Brody were reunited at Press in Primrose Hill. Run by another friend of Scoop, Melanie Press, Press in Primrose Hill is all about delivering unique and special pieces that can’t be found anywhere else.
London-based Sunspel have built their business on creating beautiful, everyday clothing that forms the foundation of the modern luxury wardrobe, with quality, sourcing and people at the heart of what they do.
The self-described “upmarket irreverence” of Bella Freud fits perfectly with Scoop’s art-meets-fashion aesthetic. The boutique, based in Marylebone, has seen the Belle Freud label gain a true cult following.
Situated in the heart of Marylebone, KJ’s Laundry was launched in 2006 by friends Jane and Kate. Focusing on niche, under the radar brands this boutique is known for introducing new and exciting labels to the UK.
The Cross, Notting Hill
Based in beautiful Notting Hill, The Cross has made its name as one of London’s very first lifestyle boutiques. Stocking a great mix of up and coming brands and established names, their eclectic product mix encompasses fashion, homeware and gifts.
Founded by French-Cambodian sisters Val and Vanda, Aime is a destination for everyday style with an undeniable Parisian twist.
Scandi style loving Wild Swans has boutiques in Islington and Chiswick. Founded by Caroline van Luthje, originally from Denmark, Wild Swans is designed to emanate Scandinavian calm, style and sensibility.
Launched first in London’s Islington, in 2014, creatives Alia and Sara brought together their backgrounds in photography and fashion to create an inspiring, one-off shopping experience at S120, which is now located in Coal Drops Yard.
