Last month I visited Beatiz Furest in Barcelona and chatted to sisters Beatriz and Carlota Furest and asked them:
Fashion background: We belong to a family that founded one of the first tailoring and multi-brand shops in Barcelona in 1898.
We have always been steeped in men's fashion.
Heels or flats: 99,9% of the time Flats
Vintage or new: new but with vintage style
Style icon: none now. When I was little my fashion icon was Diane Keaton because of her elegant, sporty and masculine style.
Favourite beauty products: cold water
And jewellery: Hermes
What's your signature scent: I keep all my perfumes throughout the different stages of my life. Depending on the mood I'm in, I wear one or the other. Each one takes me back to different memories and experiences.
Who inspires you: My sister Beatriz
Best coffee in Barcelona: At home, while reading a book
Museum or art gallery: Thyssen Museum in Madrid
Favourite beach: Es Caló in Formentera
Crepe or Croissant: Always croissant
Best summer memory: A “ siesta” “snap “ on the beach listening to the sound of the sea in the background.
Favourite piece or pieces in the next Beatriz Furest collection: the jack jacket, with the skye jumper and our basic, the Marlin trousers. I would pair it with shoes and a suede bag from our collection, all handcrafted in Spain.
