Cologne is known for its’ vibrant and diverse neighbourhoods, each with its’ own unique charm.
Our favourite is the Belgian Quarter. It is known for its trendy atmosphere, fashion boutiques, art galleries, and stylish cafes.
Favourite places for brunch:
Salon Schmitz: Situated in the trendy Ehrenfeld neighbourhood, Salon Schmitz is a popular brunch spot with a laid-back vibe.
Best coffee in Cologne:
Heilandt Cafés offer a variety of brewing methods and provide a cosy atmosphere to enjoy your coffee. And it is by the way in front of our headoffice!
Favourite gallery or museum:
Cologne is home to several noteworthy galleries and museums that are highly regarded by locals and visitors. Our favourite is the Museum Ludwig, as this is particularly known for its’ exceptional collection of Pop Art.
Can you both tell us a secret:
We love the carnival in Cologne. You really must see it once in a lifetime.
Favourite place to shop:
Once again he Belgian Quarter. It's a great place to explore small boutiques, vintage stores, art galleries, and concept stores.

Cologne is a city known for its vibrant arts and cultural scene, and there are several places where you may find inspiration. There are many museums, parks, street art districts and a diverse mix of open-minded people in this city that are all very inspiring.
Best Cologne destination for a date:
The Rheinpromenade, located along the banks of the Rhine River, offers a lovely setting for a romantic date. You can also find cosy cafes and restaurants along the promenade where you can have a drink or a meal with a view.
Favourite park in Cologne:
The Botanical Garden Flora is a delightful oasis in the heart of Cologne. The garden has beautifully landscaped areas, glasshouses, and themed gardens, providing a tranquil experience for nature lovers.
Favourite food market:
The Cologne Central Market near the Cologne Cathedral is a bustling food market that offers a wide variety of fresh produce, baked goods, and flowers. It's a great place to immerse your self in the local culinary scene and pick up high-quality ingredients.
Your sanctuary in Cologne:
Even though Cologne is a big city, it offers many parks, nearby forests and quiet places to relax and walk with our dogs. These green spaces can provide a sense of peace and a break from the bustling city atmosphere.
