Tell me about your design background and founding Quinton Chadwick:
I trained in knitwear at The Royal College of Art, and my first design job was in Italy for Missoni, colour and pattern being a big part of their DNA.
When I later co-founded Quinton Chadwick our remit was to use only small British and Scottish Mills. Our various designs are knitted by makers who have been honing their skill for generations. Helping keep this local knowledge and craftsmanship alive is the founding principle of Quinton Chadwick.
Favourite neighbourhood in Southwold, Suffolk:
I love it along the harbour Black-shore walking across the bridge to Warberswick and then getting the little rowing boat back across to the Southwold side
Favourite place for brunch:
There is a great little French place called Le Roc at The Harbour with a decked balcony views, lovely for lunch or early evening watching the sun set.

Love The Canteen a new project that is in the converted hospital with local community events- great coffee and cakes from Pump Street Bakery.
Favourite beach:
All of them but our local is Covehithe - totally unspoilt treasure so I am bias.

Got to be Collen and Clare on the main square it’s the hub of Southwold -and the best shop, stocks so many great labels even Quinton Chadwick!

Love Southwold pier, beach huts along the promenade and local reed bed walks. Not to forget places further afield - Holkham beach and the gorgeous gardens at Stody Lodge, where we shot some of our recent campaign.

Hmmm…. The Aldeburgh Food festival is a highlight each year.
What inspires you?
Nature’s colours, textures and obviously I’m a pattern person. I love paintings, art galleries, street culture - eclectic mixes you name it “More is More!”
