Your first fashion memories: From a very young age, I was immersed in the world of fashion. My parents had their own fashion brand, and my mother was its designer. She often took me with her to the office, on buying trips and shopping excursions, introducing me to the codes, creativity and craftsmanship of fashion from an early age.
Your style in three words: Fashion-forward, colourful, distinctive
Who inspires you: I am inspired by many creative people across different fields. In art, I particularly admire Takashi Murakami and JonOne for their bold use of colour and their unique artistic universes. I also love the work of designer Gaetano Pesce, especially his colorful creations and textured vases.
However, in fashion, Sonia Rykiel and Jean Paul Gaultier have always been important inspirations. I have always had a special love for knitwear, and their creative vision has influenced me greatly. Knitwear is at the heart of Ma Petite Capsule and remains the foundation of everything I create.
Beyond people, travel and discovering new cultures constantly inspire my creativity.
Vintage or new: Both J I love vintage for the inspiration and history it carries, but I naturally gravitate towards new pieces as a designer.
Style icon: Jane Birkin. I have always been inspired by her timeless style and natural elegance. I love the spirit of the 1970s, and she perfectly represents that effortless blend of femininity, freedom and individuality.
Secret Addresses: For shopping, I have two favorite spots. In Paris, I love MERCI for its unique selection of fashion, design and lifestyle pieces. As I am originally from Marseille, I also love visiting Jogging Samena, a very trendy concept store that is always full of inspiration.
For holidays, I often escape to Alpillesen Provence a beautiful village in Provence near Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. I highly recommend lunch at Edu Restaurant, a beloved local institution where you can enjoy delicious tapas to share in a relaxed atmosphere.
