Your first fashion memories: As a small child I was always desperately trying to create the perfect yuppie / high school look I loved so much from 80’s movies, think Diane Keaton meets Molly Ringwald.

Your style in three words: Classic, chic, modern

Who inspires you: My Mother, always. She taught me, if it doesn’t exist, then make it yourself. 

Vintage or new: Both, but the best items in my wardrobe are vintage, they outlive everything I’ve bought new.

Style icon: Erin O’Connor. She is not afraid to style strong structured shapes in feminine fabrics. She has also worn Helen Moore a few times so I might be biased.

Favourite Museum or Art Gallery: Museums and art galleries are my happy place; they are where I feel most myself and most inspired. I love the Tate Modern as it always challenges my perspective.

Secret Address: Filly Brook in East London, a little culture haven with people I love, good wine and live music. (fun fact, I designed the interiors)

Favourite piece or pieces in the next Helen Moore collection: The Sport Gilet. This item existed in my head for a long time. It has also become a stockist’s favourite; nothing is better than creating something people love.
Your favourite song: Too hard to choose, but at the moment Wildfires by Sault.
