Scoop has wrapped up another season and given that one of the standout features flagged ahead of the show was the constant deluge of information about non-UK exhibitors. And 'international' really was the buzzword as label after label detailed how they’re targeting the UK market.
Hopefully they’re targeting the Irish market too as Irish buyers were out in force along with their UK peers.
We don’t know their numbers, of course, as the organisers don’t release visitor figures. Regardless of numbers, while some exhibitors said that footfall seemed lower at times, they stressed that it was “quality footfall” and that meant contacts being made, orders being written and decisions to exhibit again next time being taken...
